PECI’s drama students are presenting a statement on family and the long-term effects it has with this weekend’s theatrical production.
Performances of ‘Mirror Game’, were held Wednesday for elementary students and continue Thursday at noon for a matinee and at 7p.m. for a public performance and on Friday and Saturday, April 22nd-23rd at 7pm in the Lipson Room, above Books and Company.
“Mirror Game works like this: Maggie’s in love with Bob, Bob’s in love with Sarah, Sarah’s in love with Luke, Luke beats on Sarah. Through it all, we see their parents as giant shadows that loom over their lives,” says author Dennis Foon, of the story.
Directed by PECI’s drama teacher Matthew Sheahan, it stars Jacob Dey as Bob, Isobel McDonald as Maggie; Ruth Laliberte as Sara and Simon Birch as Luke. Moms, Dads and ensembles include: Alyssa Roche, Codie Goodman, Lucy Mee, Colleen Griffin, Malcolm Ross, Julie Scott, Shannon Andrews, Ryan Cole-Hulse and Courtney Kerr.
