UPDATE: – Phone lines working again.
Quinte Health Care is experiencing technical issues with its phone lines.
“External calls to QHC hospitals are not coming through our telephone system,” said Carly Baxter, Communications Consultant. “Incoming calls to the main QHC number are being answered via one cell phone by our switchboard department for BGH and TMH.”
To alleviate calls coming into switchboard, Baxter notes there are cell phones in use at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital – 613-847-6974 and at North Hastings Hospital – 613-202-2022 or 613-332-8872.
“We ask that if your call isn’t urgent, please wait until we have rectified the situation. Technicians are on site trying to solve the issue. The current anticipated time to resolution is 1.5 hours. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.”
