Picton Home Hardware doubles its love for the library

Library board member Fergus Millar, expansion committee chair Alexandra Bake (with Chico) and CEO Barbara Sweet accept a $5,000 donation (worth $10,000) from the Picton Home Hardware family represented Wednesday morning by Hank, Pat and Mark Busscher.
Picton’s Home Hardware family showed their love for the library Wednesday morning presenting a $5,000 donation to the expansion project.
Because the donation was made in October, it will be matched by an anonymous donor who has pledged up to $50,000 in support of the renovation and expansion of the historic Picton Library.
Sweet noted the generous donor loves libraries and infused excitement into the fundraising efforts with the Love Your Library campaign with the potential to raise $100,000 this month.
