CHEERS! to Picton Pirates hockey players who filled a truck with food for The Salvation Army during a drive held in Picton on Sunday. The Salvation Army will be guests at the Pirates’ Home Game Thursday, Nov. 16th as part of their Kettle Drive Kick-Off. Game time is 7:30 p.m. against Napanee.
“There was great participation in the drive from the whole team,” said Nancy Woods, the Pirates’ secretary/treasurer. “We had a lot of positive remarks from the community to the players and the players also had a lot of fun and enjoyed themselves.”
