Police charge four, seize drugs, phones and money

Prince Edward County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment, the East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Canine Unit and Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) seized drugs, phones and money executing a search warrant about 4:30 a.m. at a residence on Nery Avenue in Picton.
Police seized of a quantity of cocaine, psilocybin (magic mushrooms), three cellular phones and a collection of Canadian currency.
Four Picton residents, ages 20 to 32, were charged with possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking -cocaine; possession of a schedule three substance – psilocybin (mushrooms) and possession of property obtained by crime.
The accused were released on an undertaking to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on July 15.
