Police investigating robbery in Picton

Prince Edward County OPP are investigating a robbery at the Mac’s convenience store on Paul Street in Picton.
Friday Nov. 27 at 2:11 a.m. officers responded to the store after receiving a report of an armed suspect demanding cash from the cashier. The suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The OPP Canine Unit, OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) were called to assist with the investigation.
The suspect is described as 5′ 7″, slender build, dark coloured hair, face partially covered with a dark coloured scarf, wearing a dark coloured toque, dark coloured canvas type jacket, black pants and beige work boots.
No one was injured during the robbery.

Investigators have confirmed the suspect was male.
