Power out in two County locations following afternoon storm

Following this afternoon’s heavy bursts of rain, power was out for 249 people in the Milford and South Bay areas of the County (down to 20 people by 8 p.m.); and for more than 100 customers on East Lake Road – due to a downed hydro pole, shown here in a photograph by Lisa Heaney. Eastlake Road is closed going east toward Picton from Kleinsteuber Parks Road. Power is expected to be returned by about (updated) 11 p.m.
