Stitching together their support for priority medical equipment at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital are the PEC Quilters’ Guild with their recent donation of $2,000 on January 27, 2017. The funds were raised through admission sales at the 2016 quilt show held at the Wellington District Community Centre this past July. More than 1,300 people attended the event and the group decided to donate the proceeds to the hospital equipment fund so their efforts could benefit all County residents.

The Quilters’ Guild consists of about 75 members including 4-H members and life members. The next quilt show is set for the summer of 2018.
