UPDATE Feb 13 – Trails now open!
Freezing rain and recent cold temperatures created dangerous, icy conditions on the trails at Quinte Conservation’s public Conservation Areas.
The environmental organization closed its trails Thursday, until conditions improve. Visitors are advised to stay off the trails until they are reopened.
Quinte Conservation is a community-based environmental protection agency. It serves 18 municipalities in the watersheds of the Moira, Napanee and Salmon Rivers and Prince Edward County.
