Quinte Royals golden at AA tourney

Quinte Royals 18U team includes County residents Ben Wells, Cooper Rogers, Nolan Dawson, Brodie Byford, Will Ronan. and Dylan Morrow (not pictured), Head coach is County UPS man Dave Cleary and Assistant Coach is Matt Ronan.
The 18 U Quinte Royals baseball team went 5-0 on the weekend at the AA tournament in Guelph. The Royals took on larger centre teams and out scored opponents by a combined score of 54-8 to win gold.
This year the Midget Royals are in a league of their own. The are 24-0 and have dominated in Eastern Ontario Baseball Association league play, out scoring their opponents 162-45.
The Royals finish their season this Wednesday night at Rotary Park vs. the Northumberland Jacks at 7:30 p.m.
