Regent Theatre celebrates grand re-opening

The Regent Theatre celebrated its grand re-opening on the weekend with free movies and popcorn Friday and Saturday and a delightful Mother’s Day performance from Prince Edward County’s Rising Stars.
Performers included: Instant Rivalry, Amy Sedore, Cole Norton, Brooke Bruce, Becky Elliott, Tatyana Sylla, Amy Noel Rutherford, Katie Shannon, Abbie Chapman, Gavin Massey and Cole Foster-Lynd.
Opening weekend draws were held for 'Date Night Movie and Dinner' packages; 'Family Night Pizza and Movie' packages and 'Tea for Two' from the Marshmallow Room. At the special seniors' event, draws were held for Tea for Two at the Marshmallow Room and frozen meals from Community Care.
Children attending Saturday's free movies also received free popcorn.
Everybody loves balloons as did these two visitors to the newly-renovated Regent Theatre.
