Road and sidewalk work this week on Picton Main

Expect traffic disruptions at the intersection of Picton Main and Bridge streets on Thursday, June 21 while work crews complete asphalt repairs.
Lane closures will be in effect, which may cause delays. Flag persons will be used to direct traffic. Removal of the top asphalt surface, and resurfacing, is set to take place between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm, weather permitting. The work will be rescheduled in the event of rain.
Also, due to work occurring on the building at 178 Picton Main Street, minor disruptions to pedestrian traffic may occur from June 20-25.
During the painting of the building, a portion of the sidewalk will be closed. Access to the sidewalk will be maintained throughout the duration of the work, but there may be minor disruptions to pedestrian traffic during construction.
Construction staff will be available to assist pedestrian access.
