Rodeo helps children ride safely

A bicycle rodeo hosted by the Brain Injury Association in partnership with the OPP and ROC (Recreation Outreach Centre), helped children and their families learn about proper helmet fitting, hand signals and rules of the road.
With bikes donated by Canadian Tire and helmets donated by Bonn Law, the event was held at the pavilion behind the Picton arena.
Participants were able to meet regular and auxiliary officers and see inside a police car. PEC OPP Staff Sergeant John Hatch hopes to see this become an annual event.
