Quinte Conservation launched its new Family Nature Days program at the Macaulay Conservation Area Friday afternoon. “We are very excited for this summer’s new Family Nature Days, it will give us an opportunity to educate people on the importance of preserving our natural surroundings,” says Maya Navrot, Conservation Education Coordinator.
Picton’s event was one of eight to be held in the region this summer.
Guided hikes are followed by reptile shows, a species at risk display, a focus on water, crafts and nature games, activities and experiments.
