Sexual assault reported in Picton park

Prince Edward OPP have charged a Picton man following a report of sexual assault Sunday, Aug. 31 at a park in the town of Picton.
“The investigation indicates that two girls, in their early teens met with a man in a park and that he had sexually assaulted both girls. Police searched the area, locating the suspect,” said PEC OPP Constable Anthony Mann.
OPP arrested a 29-year old Picton man. The accused is charged with the following offences:
Aggravated Sexual Assault, contrary to Section 273(2)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada. (x2)
Sexual Interference, contrary to Section 151 of the Criminal Code of Canada. (x2)
Luring A Child, contrary to Section 172.1 of the Criminal Code of Canada. (x2)
Both victims were treated at hospital.
The accused is in custody for a bail hearing on September 2, 2014 at the Ontario Court of Justice, Belleville, ON.
