Skyway Bridge overnight closure planned for June 8

GIP Construction & Materials Limited (formerly Aecon Construction & Materials Limited) expects to conduct a full night closure of Highway 49 at the Bay of Quinte Skyway Bridge from 9 p.m. Thursday, June 8 to 6 a.m. Friday June 9.
No traffic will be permitted to pass over the bridge.
The closure is needed to complete installation of new girders in Segment A where they will be parked on the bridge for an extended period of time.
In the case of poor weather conditions, the closure may be rescheduled to take place at the same times on Monday, June 12 to Tuesday June 13.
