Stolen County van recovered

A Prince Edward County Works white 2015 GMC Savanna van, stolen sometime over the past weekend, was recovered Monday night near a park in the town of Picton.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Forensic Identification Unit has processed the vehicle and the investigation is continuing.
The van was stolen from a Cty Rd 22 works yard. The theft was discovered Monday morning when an employee reported for work.
The suspects appeared to have broken into the County building, stole the vehicle keys and a quantity of cash.
