Temporary water loss in Ameliasburgh possible

NOV. 28: The water and wastewater department will also be assisting with the connection of a new portion of watermain to the existing drinking water system on Hennessey Street in Rossmore.
Work is to begin at the end of Hennessey Street Thursday, Nov. 30 at approximately 9 a.m., with an expected completion time of 6 p.m. the same day.
Temporary water loss in Ameliasburgh possible
NOV. 26: While the County’s water department replaces and repairs equipment at the Ameliasburgh Water Treatment Plant overnight Tuesday, Nov. 28, residents may experience temporary loss of service.
Repairs are planned for overnight, beginning at 11 p.m with an expected completion time of 1 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 29.
Customers connected to the Amelisaburgh drinking water system may experience temporary loss of service while work is taking place.
Once water service is restored, customers may experience intermittent pressure fluctuations and coloured water.
If coloured water is experienced, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once maintenance work is complete.
