John Langschmidt shares these photographs of Canada geese enjoying a mild winter “quite loudly” at Prinyer’s Cove. There were 10,582 geese tallied during the mid-winter Waterfowl census between Trenton and Point Petre this year. Also spotted, of interest, a Rough-Legged Hawk along Kelly Road, Glaucous Gull at Wellington Beach, and two first-year Bald Eagles on the edge of the ice in West Lake at Wellington. Also, two immature Bald eagles at Cressy, and four immature and one adult farther west along Adolphus Reach.
