There’s no hiding fun on a farm from the Easter Bunny and friends

Despite brisk wind and cold temperatures, children attending the Junior Farmers’ Annual Egg Hunt were delighted to meet the Easter Bunny and a herd of cattle and calves at the Williams Farm last Saturday.
The young visitors gathered in the barn to make Easter crafts with the Junior Farmers Club members and play pin the tail on the cow. Some also enjoyed climbing in the straw bales.
Junior Farmers is often thought of as a continuation of 4-H. The group is the only Ontario youth organization run entirely by youth between the ages of 15 and 29. Junior Farmers of Ontario has more than 600 members in 27 clubs across the province. Members focus on developing leadership skills and contributing to their communities by holding social events to promote agriculture and an awareness of rural life.
