Wellington residents Kim and Doug Taylor watch as Tim Jones, Bernice Dunphy and Jim Young carry out their perfect Christmas tree from the holiday forest now set up behind the Picton Fire Station, 8 McDonald Dr.
Buying a Christmas tree from The Picton Firefighters Association is an easy way to pay the spirit of the holiday season forward as sales of Balsam and Fraser Firs assist the firefighters in their support of various County charities.
The trees are $60 each (cash only) and the funds raised helps the association throughout the year to help individuals, groups, charities, and families in need – including the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Hospice, Alzheimers Prince Edward, Camp Bucko for burn victims, the Dolphins Swim Team, the ROC and Kids of Steel.
