The Rotary Club of Picton is inviting wine lovers to be their own own judge at this year’s fifth annual premier wine tasting event.
Uncork Canada is presented by The All Canadian Wine Championships (ACWC) in concert with sponsors Scotiabank Picton, Picton Elks Lodge and The Waring House.
Net proceeds benefit the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Back the Build Campaign for the new hospital project.
The tasting takes place Saturday, June 15, from 3-6p.m. in the Rotary Hall at the Huff Arena located at the Prince Edward County Community Centre.
The afternoon features tastings of Canada’s best wines, including medal winners for 2019 – in the cool comfort of the air-conditioned Rotary Hall.
Hundreds of wines, ciders and meads from more than 200 premier wineries and vineyards across Canada are featured.
Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door for 12 tastings. Groups of six or more who purchase online tickets in advance will receive $5 off the ticket price.
