Two young people killed in single vehicle accident on County Road 23

UPDATE JULY 11: Prince Edward County OPP are continuing their investigating into a fatal single vehicle accident that claimed the lives of two young people.
On July 9 just before 11:30 a.m., officers responded to County Road 23, south of Victoria Road, Ameliasburgh.
Sgt. Erin Cranton, East Region Media Relations Co-ordinator, states initial investigation indicates that the vehicle left the roadway, entered the ditch and rolled.
The driver, Justin Crowe, 19-years-old from Ameliasburgh, and passenger, Sarah Bradbury, 17-years-old from Belleville, were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation continues with assistance from the OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) and Reconstructionist.
UPDATE JULY 9: Two occupants of a vehicle have been confirmed deceased following an accident on County Road 23.
Ontario Provincial Police, Hastings Quinte Paramedics and Prince Edward County fire crews attended the scene.
The road between County Road 19 and Victoria Road was closed for about eight hours.
OPP report the investigation remains ongoing with the assistance of collision reconstructionists.
