The municipality is upgrading elevated water tanks in Consecon and Bloomfield. The project includes the over-coating of the exterior and interior of the water tanks.
Construction is scheduled to take place at the Consecon tower between April 13 and June 1. The contractor will then move operations to the Bloomfield tower starting June 1. Work on the Bloomfield tower is expected to continue until July 22.
Construction noise may be experienced by nearby residents from 7 am – 7 pm Monday to Sunday.
This construction will not impact water service.
The municipality is continuing on with the critical infrastructure project as permitted under the province of Ontario’s essential workplaces provision in response to COVID-19.
