Visitors flowed through waterfall tour

More than 1,200 visitors enjoyed viewing two natural waterfalls over the Easter weekend. The falls are located on private property, one at Cape Vessey and the other at Jackson’s Falls, but were open to the public to view, through an arrangement with the Rotary Club to help raise funds for international clean water projects.
Picton Rotary has received sufficient donations from the waterfalls tours over the years to support provision of clean water at a rural development centre in Mbale, Uganda and to the Atakor Development Foundation in Ghana, and has supported a school sanitation project in Maputo, Mozambique.
