Water main repair at Paul and Elm
Administrator | Jan 20, 2015 | Comments 0
Avoid the intersection of Paul and Elm streets in Picton Tuesday morning as the County’s Water and Wastewater Department will be completing emergency construction to repair a water main break.
It is expected to be complete by early afternoon. The east end of Elm Street will be closed for the duration of the repair.
These repairs are not expected to impact water quality, however residents living on Paul Street (between Barker and Century streets) may experience intermittent pressure fluctuations and coloured water. The water remains safe to drink throughout the duration of construction.
If coloured water is experienced, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the tap closest to the water meter once maintenance is complete.
