TUESDAY, OCT. 15: The Water and Wastewater Department is aware of a watermain issue affecting Wellington on the Lake users.
Water pressure is to be restored as soon as possible.
- The Water and Wastewater Department is working to re-pressurize the water supply feeding the customers west of Prince Edward Drive in Wellington, including Wellington on the Lake.
- Full pressure should be restored by 2:30 pm today.
- These repairs are not expected to impact water quality; however, residents in the area of the repair may experience pressure fluctuations, air or coloured water while pressure is returned.
- If coloured water is experienced, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once work is complete.
