‘We Want Our Hospital Back’ volunteers welcome Wednesday night

‘We Want Our Hospital Back’ team organizer Dave Gray invites everybody interested in helping to organize the April 17 bus trip to Queen’s Park to meet at the Wellington United Church, Wednesday, March 27 at 7 p.m.

“We are looking for workers to help with our tickets and petitions,” said Gray. “We will want volunteers to help collect names on the petitions. We will also be placing the petitions in local businesses. More information on all of that will be available Wednesday night.”

Leo Finnegan and Norma Creighton were to make a short presentation and update to County Council Tuesday night.

More than 30 Prince Edward County residents met in Wellington last Wednesday night. Two buses have been booked but the community members present want to see eight or nine buses take the trip.
“We have to stress that this is the last kick at the cause,” said Gray. “We want our hospital back.”
