Milford’s Winter Carnival was a victim of quirky weather this weekend. While Friday night’s chili dinner, fireworks and family bingo were well attended, Saturday’s outdoor fun events at the fairgrounds saw a lighter crowdenjoying the fun despite wind and snow mixed with rain. Some warmed up with free hot chocolate, hot dogs and coffee. A free family movie followed at Mt. Tabor with popcorn and drinks. Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for Prince Edward County for this evening. Gusts to 90 km/h are developing over Prince Edward County early this evening. The wind is expected to gradually diminish late this evening. Motorists and pedestrians reminded to be on the watch for debris.
