Wellington Rotary Club members decided to double their support for seniors in Prince Edward County this year with a donation of $1,000 to the Community Care for Seniors Association.
“We are grateful for the long-standing support of Wellington Rotary” said Debbie MacDonald Moynes, Community Care’s executive director. “The club makes an annual monetary donation and also helps by delivering Meals on Wheels to seniors.”
Ken Robertson, president of Wellington Rotary, said members are aware of the impact the pandemic has had on not-for-profit agencies and because of that this year they doubled the donation to Community Care.
