Winter’s last breath brings snowy start to spring

Winter’s last breath on Monday and Tuesday will make a snowy welcome to spring on Wednesday as anywhere from 5 to 10cm is forecast to fall in the County.
Lower temperatures and mixed precipitation is forecast as snow changes to freezing rain, then rain on its way east. Wind gusting up to 55 km/h is expected.
Environment Canada forecast 8-10cm of snow for the County with the worst of the storm leaving upward of 20cms in the Ottawa area and Quebec.
Light snow 1-2cm is forecast for Tuesday, followed by scattered flurries Wendesday and Thursday.
