All County, All the Time Since 2010 MAKE THIS YOUR PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY HOME...PAGE!  Wednesday, January 27th, 2021

You can see your house from here!

new-gis-viewerA new Public Geographic Information Systems (GIS) viewer has been launched to help improve public access to municipal data and customized mapping of Prince Edward County.

“We are incredibly proud of the work done by staff to address recent changes in technology by creating this new public GIS viewer,” said Brian Bonter, Manager of Information Technology. “This new tool will ensure the public has efficient access to the most up to date municipal geographic data.”

The new online viewer provides access to municipal data such as: civic addressing, property information, aerial imagery, and more. Along with offering more comprehensive information than the previous GIS viewer, the new viewer is more compatible with current devices such as smartphones, tablets, and desktop web browsers.

A search box feature streamlines how users find information using an address, roll number, zoning by-law number, and other key words to find information.

The new public GIS viewer was developed collaboratively in-house to address technological changes that have taken place since the first viewer was developed. Visit http://maps.pecounty.on.ca.

The old public GIS viewer at the abovementioned link is still available until Nov. 1, 2015.
