4H honours members’ achievements

Dedication to 4H earned the County’s Shannon Langridge the prestigious CIBC gold watch as the most outstanding senior member of the organization.
The Kemptville College student returns to the County for meetings and managed to participate in eight of 21 clubs offered by the Prince Edward County 4H Association. She has completed a record 96 club projects.
At the club’s annual awards ceremony, Langridge was praised for her accomplishments and for guiding other youth into a lifetime of friendships and skills building, learning and leadership.
Kaitlin Wood received the Ron Everall Memorial Bursary for a member enrolled in a post-secondary program.
The Keitha Gilbert Award for outstanding first-year 4H member went to Connor Foster.
The Bay of Quinte Mutual Award for outstanding second-year member went to Evelyn Young.
Shae-Lynn Bell received the Ontario Ploughman’s Association Award for outstanding 4H agricultural member.
Seventeen certificates for new members and 27 for accomplishments of projects were handed out.
