Rednersville Road construction soon to begin

Pre-construction activities for the $1.2 million rehabilitation of County Road 3 (Rednersville Road) are now underway.
Project layout, signage, and mobilization will continue throughout the week with construction scheduled to begin Monday, May 25. Work is expected to be completed prior to Sept. 1.
The work will to take place Monday to Friday, between 7 am and 7 pm.
This project begins where the previous phase of the County Road 3 rehabilitation ended (civic #1460) and continues to the west for approximately 1.1 km (civic #1668). Click here to view a map showing the location of work.
The project scope includes ditching improvements, culvert replacements, paved shoulders and full removal and replacement of the existing roadway asphalt surface.
Construction was awarded to Earth-Crete Ontario Inc. by Council on Tuesday, April 21. The low tender submission of $1,226,654.30 was accepted.
A minimum of one lane of traffic is anticipated to be maintained throughout the duration of the work.
Hand delivered notices have been provided to those within the construction area.
