Amherst Island deemed complete but should be deemed poor choice

Ministry of the Environment
I note that your Ministry has “deemed complete” an application from Windlectric Inc. for construction of a 36 turbine Class 4 wind facility on Amherst Island. It will have a total expected generation capacity of up to 75 megawatts (MW).
Amherst Island is a “First Class”, internationally-respected staging area for migrating birds, of which raptors are particularly vulnerable to industrial wind turbines. The Windlectric plan for a “Class 4” raptor ravaging facility is now “deemed complete”.
“Owl Woods” on Amherst Island is a world-famous haven for a large variety of owls, attracting birders from around the world. The Windlectric plan for “Class 4” owl obliteration factory is now “deemed complete”.
“Far from the madding crowd”, Amherst Island is a treasured and tranquil First Class rural residential community. The Windlectric plan for its desecration and demise by a “Class 4” wind facility, is now “deemed complete”.
Now that the Windlectric application for this 36-turbine “Class 4” wind facility is “deemed complete”, I expect your Ministry, with input from the public and from independent experts, to quickly reach the obvious conclusion that Amherst Island is indeed a First Class place for wildlife and people, but should be deemed a very poor place for Industrial Wind Turbines.
