Representatives from Prince Edward County’s art, food, and wine community launched the return of the Arts Trail and Taste Trail program in Prince Edward County.
The trails encourage art, food and wine lovers to journey through the County, stopping at local studios, galleries, restaurants, food shops, farm stands and more.
Previously organized through the now defunct Taste the County, the municipality’s Community Development Department, the County’s arts council and representatives from local restaurants and wineries worked on this sixth year of the program.
“The trails program is an important piece of Prince Edward County’s tourism landscape,” said Neil Carbone, Director of Community Development. “The end product would not have come together without a tremendous amount of support from the steering committee.”
The key marketing tool is a 72-page printed Arts Trail / Taste Trail guide featuring 28 restaurants, wineries, farms stands, boutique shops, and 29 galleries and studios. The program is marketed using Arts Trail and Taste Trail websites, social media and road-side signs throughout the County.
