Baby Show winning a family trait

Picton Fair Baby Show Winner Lacey-Lee with mom, Christina, and Paul Massey, Tim Hortons owner and sponsor.

A smiley Lacey-Lee Hele was named winner of the annual Tim Horton’s Baby Show Friday afternoon – opening day of the 176th annual Picton Fair.
Lacey-Lee, daughter of Christina Huff and Raymond Hele, was winner in the 13-18 month female category. Her trophy will likey sit near her older sister Harley’s trophy as she was named best overall baby winner in 2008.
First runner-up at the show was Charlie Anne Elizabeth Cleave, daughter of Krystal Dunk and Cameron Cleave. Second runner up was Carter Storms MacLeod, son of Debbie Berwick and Brandon MacLeod.
Lana Latchford was delighted with the turn-out to this year’s show. She is in her 32nd year of co-ordinating the event. Judges this year were Barb Davidson, of Belleville, and Sandi Rutter of Oakville. Volunteers also included Florence Lindsay and Pat Mills.
Show sponsor Paul Massey, owner of Picton’s Tim Hortons was the emcee for the day. He congratulated all the participants and also thanked Jeanette Arsenault for entertaining the crowd in the hall with fun music and song while registrations were confirmed.

4-6 month (male) Carter Storms MacLeod, son of Debbie Berwick and Brandon MacLeod.
7-12 month (female) Mia Bella Grant, daughter of Lex and Kyler Grant.
7-12 month (male) Wyatt Lipsett-Nelson, son of Dan Lipsett.
13-18 month (female) Lacey-Lee Hele, daughter of Christina Huff and Raymond Hele.
13-18 month (male) Blake Austin Shephard-Benway, son of Teresa Shephard and Jordan Benway.
