Basket of cash raised for Loyalist Humane Society

Shannon Helm, of the Portabella Bistro, draws the winning ticket for the Christmas gift basket donated by Don and Roy, left, of Portabella. Fran Renoy, at right, represented the Loyalist Humane Society. The basket, valued at $500 contains numerous items all purchased in Prince Edward County. The lucky winners were Lee and Abby Ramsbottom of Wellington. A total of $2665 was raised and will be divided between Community Living and the Loyalist Humane Society.
