Basket of goods raises $668 for Humane Society

Bessie and Raymond Villeneuve, long time volunteers at the Loyalist Humane Society, are seen drawing the winning ticket for a Christmas hamper consisting of local County products valued at more than $200. Pictured in the centre are John, Roy and Kate of the Portabella who helped to raise $668 for the Humane Society.The lucky winner was Jacquie Cook, of Oshawa.The Loyalist Humane Society thanks Roy and Don, owners of the Portabella, who have raised and donated more than $6,000 in the last four years toward the care of “those who cannot help themselves”.
