Birds of a feather keep their cool in hot weather

The County’s Paul Wallace shares his photograph of a Mute Swan and Canada Goose beating the heat at a Cressy home. He reports a neighbour found the two in poor condition and rehabilitated them over the winter. “They are now in great shape and have a pen within a large fenced farm area,” Wallace reports. “They are free to fly away but choose to stay to enjoy the pool, shed and great food. It was a rehabilitation area but now the birds think it is a luxury resort. The photo caption could be: This is my pool, find your own. I am bigger than you so I go first. I hope your children do not mind that I am using their pool.”
