Bloomfield became Bethlehem as the Christmas story came to life

The Christmas Story came to life and part of Bloomfield became Bethlehem with an illuminated journey that included dramatized scenes by more than 50 volunteers, along with donkeys, llamas, sheep and goats.

A light rain fell as participants walked through the Emmanuel Baptist Church event. Their walk included the hub-bub of a marketplace and they watched as Mary and Joseph could find no room at the inn and their baby, Jesus, was born in a stable.
