Patrons and friends dropped by the Bloomfield Post Office Friday, Jan. 14th with congratulations and best wishes to postmaster Brenda Williams who is relinquishing her post after 31.5 years. She leaves a legacy of special service, helpful advice and pleasant conversation. The local post office is logically the centre of social interchange in the village and remains after Brenda’s gentle hand a unifying and cultural icon for communication and friendship.
