Boil water advisory ended

A Boil Water Advisory Notice distributed continues for Wellington Main Street between addresses 264 and 291.
The advisory is a result of a water main break on Wellington Main Street near the intersection of Main Street and Wharf Street and is to continue for a few days.
Tuesday, the area had their water supply shut off.
Some local businesse in the affected area may choose to close for the duration of this service disruption as a result of the disruption of water service.

The County expected service to return late Wednesday but the Boil Water Advisory will remain in effect until further notice, noting that when water service is restored, customers may experience intermittent pressure fluctuation and coloured water as the system regains normal pressure. Flushing of private plumbing systems is recommended.

All affected customers will be advised when the Boil Water Advisory is lifted.

Just a comment on the water break i would like every one to realize how bad a break this was and how bad a spot it was in. it was in a very difficult spot and all the work of breaking up the old cement and rock that covered the main was all done by hand and with electric jack hammers.
My hat is off to the staff for the huge effort in completing the repair everyone pitched in and did a great job. i saw first hand how tough it was so again great job and thanks for the hard work.
