Break-in and theft at Hagerman Farms

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County Detachment are investigating a report of a break, enter and theft to Hagerman Farms in Hallowell.
OPP were notified of an overnight break-in to just after 8 a.m. Nov. 4 stating the business office was entered, a safe damaged and another operational safe was stolen. Approximately $2,000 in currency was reported missing.
The OPP’s Forensic Identification Services Unit (FISU) attended to assist with the investigation.
Const. Aaron Millier, PEC OPP’s Community Officer asks County residents to be vigilant of any suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods and report to police.
Meanwhile, the Hagerman Farms family has turned to Facebook to ask the public to keep eyes and ears open, and contact police with any information.
“This break and enter has been stressful. We are asking for the help from the community to hlep find out who did this in hopes that this won’t happen to another local business that supports local individuals and family members.”
