Canadian Screen Awards made in Prince Edward County

Susan and Glen Wallis, of Cherry Valley, hit the Canadian Screen Awards red carpet Sunday night in Toronto at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts. They didn’t win any awards – they made all of them.
The cream of the crop of Canadian talent received the Canadian Screen Award made by the Wallis’ in Prince Edward County. The Canadian Screen Awards event replaced both the Gemini and Genie awards.
Wallis Awards produces custom awards for various companies and organizations. They have manufactured awards for the Canadian Academy of Cinema and Television for more than 18 years.
The Academy’s Canadian Screen Awards celebrates the best in film, television and digital media. Television section award winners announced earlier during Canadian Screen Week include Rick Mercer Report, Orphan Black, Degrassi, Rocket Monkeys, Vikings, Murdoch Mysteries, and the Adventures of Napkin Man, among others.
