After the first two games of their eight-game round-robin playoff series with Ennismore and Napanee, the AE Midget Kings hold a 1-1 record. Both games were in Ennismore and each ended with a 1-0 final score. The Kings lost game one back on January 14th and despite Brad Wells’ strong play in net, his team just couldn’t produce any offense at the other end.
Friday the Kings were back in Ennismore and earned a 1-0 win on a goal from Josh Neiman, assisted by Wade Purchase. George Goddard was perfect in net for the shut-out. The Kings next game is a home tilt versus Napanee on Saturday night at 7:30 in Wellington.
