Storehouse Foodbank thanks campers for donations
Linda Downey, of the Storehouse Foodbank in Wellington, CHEERS! Lake Avenue Park residents and owners of the park in Cherry Valley who donated $340 cash and groceries to the Storehouse Foodbank. “Thank you for helping us, help others,” Downey said.
Hospital Auxiliary digital donation helps young girls compute
Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary President Liz Jones presents a $2,500 to Reverend Lynne Donovan for the Reaching for Rainbows program at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. The money will pay for three tablet computers so that the girls in the program can develop their computer skills.
