Celebrate International Women’s Day in PEC

Prince Edward County residents are invited to celebrate International Women’s Day, Friday, March 8.
The international theme for this year is #BalanceforBetter – Think equal, build smart, innovate for change.
PEC’s Alternatives for Women invites residents to share ideas on the theme and celebrate the day during a free chili luncheon Friday, March 8 from 1-3 p.m. at the St. Mary Magdalene Church.
The international campaign is a call to action for driving gender balance across the world. The day is celebrated annually on March 8, but the global campaign theme continues all year long to encourage action, and change.
