Charges laid in fatal collision

The Prince Edward OPP investigation into a rollover collision Oct. 1 2010 that resulted in multiple injuries and one death has been completed and charges have been laid.
The collision occurred shortly after 8 pm at Hubbs Creek Road and Loyalist Parkway, just west of Wellington. Tyler McConnell, 18, of Bloomfield was ejected when the vehicle rolled and died as a result. A 16-year-old male passenger from Hallowell, and the driver, received serious injuries.
Jordan Paul HOLMES, age 21 of Wellington, has been charged with the following criminal offences: Impaired Operation of a Vehicle Causing Death, Impaired Operation of a Vehicle Causing Bodily Harm, Operate a Motor Vehicle with Over 80mgs, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Death and Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Bodily Harm.
Holmes will appear in Picton court Feb. 2 to answer to the charges.
