The charity bike ride features a 40-km and 75-km option, starting and finishing at the North Marysburgh Town Hall.
Parkinson’s disease is a condition that causes slow, long-term degeneration of the central nervous system and sufferers slowly lose control over movement as simple as walking. One of the most common symptoms is tremors in limbs.
Motorists are asked to take the following precautions if out on the roads during the event:
Drive slowly while passing along the event route
Keep an eye out for cyclists, spectators or event crews on or around the roadways
Share the road with event participants
